I spent half of 2014 working in Newcastle on the fifth series of ITV’s Vera. Four action-packed episodes called for a broad variety of graphics, ranging from x-rays and evidence shots to caravan park signage and miner's strike placards. 

 

Shooting a lot of footage in the Incident Room meant there was always

on-screen graphics in the background. Series five saw Vera embrace the digital age (sort of) so graphics for tablets and mobiles were always in demand too.
